Conferences can be a great way to promote your company, as well as meet people in the accessibility/disability tech community.

CES
January 6-9, 2027
CES is held by the Consumer Technology Association. It takes place each January in Las Vegas. There has been an increase in disability tech companies attending and exhibiting over the last few years. AARP has significantly expanded its presence at the conference. An Accessibility Stage was added in 2026.
ATIA
January 29-31, 2026
The Assistive Technology Industry Association Conference is held annually. The conference is a gathering place for people in the assistive technology community to connect with each other and learn about new technologies and opportunities.
CSUN Assistive Technology Conference
March 9-13, 2026
California State University of Northbridge’s Center on Disability holds the Assistive Technology Conference in Anaheim, California each year. The conference’s exhibitors showcase cutting edge technology and solutions that remove barriers for people with disabilities. They state that it is the largest conference of its kind in the world.
SXSW
March 12-18, 2026
South by Southwest takes place annually in Austin, Texas. It brings together technology, film, culture, and education. They have a pitch competition each year to showcase innovation in the startup ecosystem.
Yale Symposium on Disability & Accessibility
April 6-11, 2026
Yale’s Symposium takes place annually on their Campus in New Haven, CT. It works to create a dialogue and stimulate conversations in the disability community. In its 5th year, it will trace disability lineages.
National Federation of the Blind
July 3-8, 2026
The NFB’s Convention is the largest gathering of blind people in the world. It is held annually. With hundreds of sessions, it provides training, support and information for the blind community.
American Council of the Blind
July 24-30, 2026
The ACB’s Conference and Convention is held annually. It has exhibitors as well as a large number of sessions on a broad array of topics such as technology, wellness, and support.
Disability:IN
July 27-30, 2026
Disability:IN is held annually in a different city. The conference is focused on disability inclusion in businesses. Sessions include topics such as inclusive design and recruitment.
AITCAP
September 2026
The Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Conference Asia Pacific is held every two years. It brings together industry leaders from around the world to discuss how to make tourism inclusive and accessible for everyone.
World Summit on Accessible Tourism
Date TBD
The Summit last took place in 2025 in Torino, Italy. Prior to that, it took place in 2018. It brings together travel players from around the world to share good practices in accessible tourism.
M-enabling Summit
October 5-7, 2026
The Summit is the annual conference of the Global Initiative for Inclusive Information and Communication Technologies (G3ict). It is held annually in Arlington, VA. With exhibitors and a number of sessions, it covers fast-moving technology innovations that increase accessibility for people with disabilities.
Neurotech Frontiers Summit
2026 Date TBD
The Summit brings together researchers, technologists, founders, and clinicians to discuss a variety of topics and advances in accessible and inclusive technology for people who are neurodiverse.
TravelAbility Summit
November 11-15, 2026
Travel industry professionals gather to meet industry leaders in travel accessibility and accessible travel influencers. Concrete strategies will be provided to tap into the accessible travel market.
Access
2026 Date TBD
Access is a fully virtual accessibility conference. It brings together industry experts, leaders and professionals to discuss the latest trends, best practices and innovations in the accessibility space.
Abilities Expo
7 Dates and Locations
The Abilities Expo is held in seven different cities on various dates throughout the year for three days. The Expo is designed for both professionals and people with disabilities. It has various workshops as well as a large number of exhibitors in the accessibility space.
