  Brittany Palmer

  Managing Partner

  Brittany Palmer is a serial entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist who is shaping the future of DisabilityTech ensuring that it delivers both long-term commercial value and meaningful societal impact. She is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Adaptation Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm that invests in next-generation companies building disability, neurodivergence and health technology to maximize human independence and potential. Brittany is also Co-Founder of Ability Lane, a pioneering community platform connecting founders to investors and people with disabilities and neurodivergence, caregivers and older adults to accelerate the discovery, development and adoption of accessible technologies. 

  An environmental attorney by training, Brittany holds a Juris Doctor from Pace University - the number one environmental law program in the United States - and was a principal at an international consulting firm earlier in her career. Brittany is a celebrated entrepreneur who previously founded and was CEO of Beeyonder: an award-winning virtual travel platform that expanded access to cultural experiences for people unable to travel in person. Born with a bilateral below-elbow limb difference, Brittany's lived experience has led to her commitment to advancing accessibility and inclusive innovation. She serves on the Innovation Steering Committee of the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) and recently spoke as a globally recognized DisabilityTech leader at the United Nations in New York, at The Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

  Rich Palmer

  Managing Partner

  Rich Palmer is a recognized leader in artificial intelligence, having founded, scaled and successfully exited an AI company. As an investor and philanthropist, he now partners with entrepreneurs developing transformative technologies that improve autonomy and dignity. Rich is  Co-founder and Managing Partner of Adaptation Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm that invests in next-generation companies building disability, neurodivergence and health technology to maximize human independence and potential. He is also Co-Founder of Ability Lane, a pioneering community platform connecting founders to investors and people with disabilities and neurodivergence, caregivers and older adults to accelerate the discovery, development and adoption of accessible technologies. 

  Earlier in his career, Rich worked as a software engineer on Wall Street before surviving a ruptured brain aneurysm at the age of 28. The experience of relearning how to walk, talk, read and write profoundly shaped his perspective on resilience, innovation and the role technology can play in expanding opportunity for others. This led him to co-found Gravyty, a patented AI platform that transformed fundraising for nonprofit teams, helping them to identify and engage donors more effectively. Today, Rich is a respected voice on entrepreneurship, AI and early-stage investing, having delivered the acclaimed TEDx talk "Harnessing the Power of Vulnerability" and speaking regularly to audiences of business leaders around the world. He has served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence and Adjunct Professor at Babson College - the number one entrepreneurship school in the United States - mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs and he has been recognized by the Boston Business Journal's 40 Under 40 and Babson College's esteemed Entrepreneurship Award.
